I just purchased a new rig with the GA-EX58-DS4 mobo and it seems to me to not be posting. I have tested it with a different video card, tried removing the RAM and there were no warning beeps (though I do not see a PC speaker on the board to be honest). Any suggestions?

Core i7 920
3BG Corsair DDR3 @ 1600MHz
Corsair 750w PSU
ATI 4870 1GB OC

I don't believe that board has a speaker. My X58 did not come with a speaker.

the speaker sometimes comes with the case

Buy a two dollar piezo - it'll cost more for the shipping than the item - but it's invaluable for start-up diagnostics; it's been years since I've seen a MOBO with a built-in speaker...
