How to Format external HD to Fat32

hey guys,


i have a external western digital hard drive 500 gb. Im trying to reformat it to Fat32.. when i use CMD "format i:/" it says it its formating and takes forever but gives me an error in the end.
im trying to format it to fat32 so i can use it for my playstation 3.

so my question is.. how can i format it to fat32. im using windows vista 64bit. thanks guys for your help in advance

fat32 wont support to format partition larger then 32 Gb

You can format it it to FAT32 beyond 32GB, but on Windows machines it's easiest with 3rd party utilities.

WiiBackupManager is a tool that does it easily.
