Maximum temperature of PSU

Hello,

I build myself a new system consisting of

Core Duo 8500
Asus P5E WS PRO
8900 GTX
PSU : Hiper-4s730W
Case : Cooler master Mystic.

When i ran it for the first days i ran it with a radeon 4870...that card got fried after 4 days.

Now i got the GTX in it, and all runs well, temp of GPU 60, CPU 20...
BUT..speedfan the tool i use to monitor temp is saying that my PSU is at 120 degrees!!

Is that normal for a PSU? or is it overheating? and maybe causing problems in the long end with my cpu and gpu?

is the fan on the psu working? does the exhaust feel that hot?

1st, does your mobo have a sensor lead that goes to the psu?? if not, there is NO way for speedfan to read the temp of the psu.
