our setups are quite similar, you obviously should be getting much better frames than that. Couple of things: Are you using AA ? Have you done a defrag lately, did you run driver sweeper before installing Cat 8.10? Is Catalyst AI enabled in the CCC ? Do you have Crysis patched fully? I am sure your problem lies somewhere in there. Good luck.

I would over clock it some but im not sure how to over clock the cpu + im using the stock fan cooler and im not sure how much the stock fan can handle = =

don't listen to them about overclocking, absolutely nothing to do with your problem.

However, make sure it is never in windowed mode as it only runs in 2d mode i believe.

We're not saying it's the source if his problems, because other people have already answered his question. We're just saying that overclocking to 4ghz isn't going to hurt anything, and if anything, will increase performance.

how high do you think i can oc on a stock fan?

eventually ill want to oc the cpu

On stock, I don't know. Probably ~3.6 - 3.7ghz, depending on the temps. You can go a lot further with a decent cooler.
