Ok I'm slightly new to this, I have OC'ed stuff on older systems but not on newer stuff and not RAM.
The Ram in my PC is from a Newer Compaq Presario SR5510F Desktop. I looked at the specs
and it says that its 2GB DDR2 (1GB Sticks x2) @ 800MHz, now Im not sure if its rlly at 800MHz, Im pretty sure it was at 533MHz.
Anyways, I wanna know how I do this. My Mother board is a ASUS M3A87-Pro AMD AM2 with a FSB of 667MHz, 800MHz and 1066MHz (Without overclocking)
I can get into BIOS and mess with the Over Clocking options but which one do I mess with?
Another thing, My Board being a AMD AM2 mobo, i have the ability to OC the Hyper Transport, will I kill my PC and/or Cause Instability if I bring the HT up to high or will it work?
It might all seem noobish questions but I wanna make sure I don't kill my new $150 Mobo >_>
BTW I already oc'ed my Athlon 64 5000+ x2 to 2.87GHz and I'm still keeping it at in the 30s for CPU and Mobo Heat, even when playing a game. So I wont ask about this >_>
