Very solid build. Looks good. Only thing I would change is to get different ram. There is ddr2-800 CL4 ram that is cheaper after rebate. This is what I'd pick. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227198

Very nice. It's amazing what you can get for $500 anymore. I agree that you should change the RAM, especially if you will be overclocking at all. Do you get the Newegg newsletter? They always have some special on RAM. The latest deal was this RAM from corsair for $22.00 after rebate and free shipping. This is what I use and have it overclocked to 850 still at 4-4-4-12.

That case has a spot for a 120mm fan in the front that isn't filled. This fan should be pretty similar to the fan already installed in the case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835103024.

The build is good. The RAM you've chosen, while a tiny bit slower, will run at its advertised timings on the JEDEC standard 1.8V. There are other threads that will tell you why this is a good thing, but basically it comes down to no muss no fuss plug it in and it works as advertised. Anything else is factory overclocked and you'll need to tweak your BIOS to get those timings. For another $5, you can get a newer P43 chipset mobo. That will give you a PCIE 2.0 slot.
