Question about UD3P IO Shield Installation Tags: Gigabyte NIC Motherboards Last response: January 22, 2009 1:22 PM in Motherboards Share shogo_tnt January 22, 2009 3:27:34 AM I'm putting together a new UD3P system and have a question about the IO shield. Example picture of IO shield, the two flaps that cover the NIC. http://cgi.ebay.ph/Gigabyte-GA-X48-DS4-DQ6-Motherboard-... Do I bend these flaps in so they rest on top of the NIC when I install the motherboard? Or do I leave them alone to protect dust and bend them outwards when I plug in the network cable? I read the manual and it doesn't specify anymore. What is the correct installation? Thanks!
