I'm putting together a new UD3P system and have a question about the IO shield.

Example picture of IO shield, the two flaps that cover the NIC.

Do I bend these flaps in so they rest on top of the NIC when I install the motherboard?
Or do I leave them alone to protect dust and bend them outwards when I plug in the network cable?

I read the manual and it doesn't specify anymore. What is the correct installation?

Thanks!

When you install the motherboard, just make sure that the tabs are on top of the NICs and not blocking them.
