Display driver keeps reverting to Win 7 classic mode

How do I revert back to the standard windows 7 display mode? It's driving me crazy - is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Yes - ATI/AMD Catalyst software installed, most current version.

Also I'm running the Intel Core i3-2120 series, and it recognizes the built-in video, could that be affecting it as well? Will I need to go into my motherboard's BIOS and disable that? How do I do that?
