Hi there

I am a new member and i like to thank every user for there greats opinions

I need help

I have PC with the following Spec.

2.53 core 2 due 3M / 1066 HZ
Intel G31 Chip.
2GB bus 677HZ.
400 GB segate 7200.
LG super DVD.
power supply 380 watt.
LG 19in LCD wide screen.

So i want to buy new VGA card and I wonder ATI 3870 w/512mb or geforce 9600 and can my power supply handle it or not ?
Plz Help me :ange:

You need to add the total power of all your parts you can go here and do that! http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine and let me tell you I had a very nice 620w and I found my system uses 835w peak and my system would act funny and crash when I was hard on it. I now have the pc power& cooling 750w it did fix the problem but I should have got a 800w unit I didn't look up my parts untill after buying.

If your power supply is an Antec Earthwatts 380w then i'd go with either of those cards as a good choice for your system.

Thanx its phantomsys for the great sit and dirtmountian for youre opinion it think i will check the brand of my power supply.
