Floppy disk problem

Floppy disk is full and I try to open and gives the the box that disk needs to be formated do you want to format. I really need to get the data off of it before I format. Is there any way to open this disk up and get the data off of it?

you will need an operating system that reads the obsolete format, like windows 2000 or 98 etc...
