What is a PCI-X Rasor card?

I read it in online tech store that there are motherboard expansions and those are PCI-X Riser cards.

If you want than google AMR or CNR and read. I thought that whole idea of riser cards died out, maybe its being resurrected...

PCI-X is a technology made more server and workstation motherboards. they are not really used for consumer boards. the riser card you're talking about is most likely for low profile rack mount workstations/servers.
