HI i intend to change my nvidia 8800 gt,and i decided to go for the ati 4870 toxic edition for 260 euro,is it the right one for the money because the nvidia gtx series are too expensive for me, thx

The 4870 is a fine choice. If it's cheaper than the GTX260, yeah go for it for sure. Make sure you have a strong enough power supply.

Don't just go for the hd 4870 go for the 1gb version of the 4870 as it mops the floor with new 260gtx at high resolutions

hay welcome to the forms

Im getting new computer and i have wasted LOST or hours deciding betwene a 260GTX and a 4870 1GB trust me when i say go for the 4870 it easly kills the 260GTX.
