Hey guys, I am using these speakers:

ALTEC LANSING FX3022 25 Watts RMS 2.0 Expressionist BASS Speaker
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836113020

I read that they had good bass, and are good for gaming. But I am not sure if I need a sound card with this motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358

If you have any better solutions for gaming and advice would be great. But I would not like to go over $120 speakers.

I was considering this cheaper set too.

As you could have read under specifications at Newegg's website:
Onboard Audio
Audio Chipset Realtek ALC889A
Audio Channels 8 Channels

That's probably enough for what you're looking to do with it.

I you want my opinion on the speakers, I'm going to say go with the Logitech set over the ones that look like art noveau lighthouses. If you really want to experience the game it meant to be heard, consider getting a 5.1 set.
