How do i change the region on lite-on burner

Hello, I recently installed a Lite-On Blu-ray Reader\cd dvd burner in my htpc. I have not tried to play blu-ray discs yet, but when i play dvds though either powerdvd or windows media center, it says that it is not the correct region. Slysoft Anydvd HD fixes this when i run it. How do I set the region if i decide that i don't want to run Any-dvd?

Control Panel, System, Hardware Device Manager, Lite On DVD Player, Properties.
I think you have to bear in mind that your are only allowed a limited number of region changes -- though updating the BIOS may fix that later.

Thanks Fihart! you have been most helpful. I set it to region 1 in the properties. No region had been selected previously. Thanks again
