Iv just noticed my 9800GTX running at 97 degrees C after playing far cry 2 for 30 mins, im pretty sure this isnt normal. Is there anything i can do to get the temp to drop (except buying a new cooler).
Also, im using nVidia system monitor to check my temperatures, iv read that nv monitor sometimes displays the wrong info. Are there any other programs that will tell me the temperature of my GPU?

Thanx for the program ;) but its showing the same temp as nv monitor, which is 64C idle. so i guess nv monitor was right earlier too when it was running at 97C :(

This was a stale case. I retract my assistance as being a year later will no longer help this user.
