Need a bit of help w/a Matsonic MS8157E mobo... (This is my first post and
whenever I click to enter a new post it takes me to another 'category'
like this CPU & components. If this is in the wrong place please advise... )

I found a site perporting to be a true Matsonic site, giving the manual for
this board, which didn't have a lot of info anyway, but it said it could handle
SATA drives. Didn't find the connector(s) on the diagram but ordered a drive
anyway. I know these are cheap boards but this is for a work project.

Found another site today and no mention of SATA compatibility so my question is how can I possibly utilize the new large drive with this board?

Thanks much,

Mac29

either a pci sata card, a cheat two port should do the trick, or an IDE to SATA adapter.

If I understand what you're asking there are PCI-SATA cards available.
