Two hard drives one sata one ide

have got two hard drives and use the sata as the main drive and the ide arddirve as a secondary hard drive when i play movies from the ide hard drive the video are playing in a slow mode. songs are playing okay but when you play a movie or music video you notice a little delay in the video

Check and make sure the ide drive is running in DMA mode and not PIO mode. You can do this through device manager. Right click on the controller and select properties.
