Hello, I was about to take the plunge but decided it might be a good idea to get some other opinions, as i'm a bit of a girl when it comes to spending money. Set myself an £800 budget which I’m currently just about below.

The machine will be for general use and gaming, decided on a quad core for future proofing purposes. Some gentle overclocking may occur. With a few extras it currently totals £793, but there may be some wiggle room for updates if need be on the £800.

You will need a quality PSU. The one you have chosen is from an inconsistent at best PSU provider.

This is just a bit more and a reliable PSU:
OCZ 600W

This is a far better and less expensive CPU cooler:
Vendetta


Otherwise it looks good.

^ 2nded. Or a Xigmatek cooler + mounting kit.

The Optiarc is unfamiliar to me. You might want well known brands like ASUS, SAMSUNG, LITE-ON.

Thanks, i was slightly sceptical about the PSU, as it was 650w for less than any other 600w i could find, so thats changed to the OCZ in a heart beat.

Ebuyer rather annoyingly dont have the Xigmatek, so i'd have to pay for extra postage to get one, so i'll stick with the Vendetta.
