Not able to access external HDD

Hello, I got my old lappy's IDE HDD encased. Now using it via usb on my new i3-Win7 lappy, i am not able to access my documents folder. The comp asks for change in administrator rights & does not show my pictures

This is because the old OS marked the files as belonging to a certain user. When Win7 detects that you are not the user, the OS blocks your access to the folders. Allow the administrator rights, or add yourself to the people allowed to view/modify files in the folder's properties. It's under "Security".
