Can anyone tell me how the HP CP1160 compares to the HP 5550 and/or the Canon S750?

Cost per page (ink), print quality, and speed are my top three considerations. Thanks in advance.

I would go with Canon. It have lower cost per page.

Check out the new Canon I550 and I850. They just came in to the online stores. I got the I850 yesterday. Supports USB 2.0 and has more memory then the S750. Uses the same four print cartridges. I love Canon and NO, I do not work or am associated with their company.

I used to have an old Canon BJ-10e. I wasn't too impressed with the gravity fed paper tray. It did jam up quite a bit, and sometimes took in two or three sheets at once.

Is the i850 gravity fed? Have you noticed similar problems?

I'm not sure what you mean. It has a built-in sheet feeder for 150 24lb pages, according to my manual. So far it hasn't jammed once. It feeds properly. But I've only had it for one day.
