I have a question: What is better... 1 Card of GTX 280 or 2 Cards of GTX260 in SLI Mode?

2 260s are faster than 1 280. Hands down they win. The 260 is only 30% slower than the 280, and can be overclocked to match the 280 in some cases.

plus I think it would cost only a little bit more than 1 280:)

i agree with liquid the gtx260 isnt much slower then its older brother. a good oc well come close to the same performance level. so i would go with the gtx260 in sli.
i have a pair of gtx260 if you have any questions feel free to ask.
