I just completed a system build yesterday with a Gigabyte UDR3 i7 motherboard, i7 920 and 8gb (4x2) of gskill ddr3 1333 ram.
When i go on CPUZ the ram shows up as 666/667, ddr3. The timing looks correct, and the amount of ram is correct. Just the speed is off. How can I make the ram run at 1066 or 1333?
That's because DDR is double pumped, meaning that it will always show up as half. My DDR2-800 at home shows up as 400Mhz in CPU-Z at home; and my DDR2-667 shows up as 333Mhz on my workstation here.
Everything is running as it should be on your system.
