I understand th feature of utilizing the ipconfig command to discover an ip address for a windows computer. Is there a way to disable this utility command-line and all others related to it so that there is no way to discover that vital ipaddress unless you're the system admin.

I can't think of any reason why you should be worried about someone knowing the IP address of the computer that they are on. Do you have a particular concern?

It's mainly for my benefit of having the knowledge of how to do it.

In that case just set the permissions on the appropriate .exe files so that only the Administrator can execute them. You will also need to disable web browsing as there are several web sites that will show the IP of a computer.

It's fine in theory, but probably impractical in reality.
