Lock ups and keyboard errors

ASUS P5N-E SLI

I have had issues with this motherboard since I bought it..
Often it will fail to start the first time, I usually get a black sceen, I think it is trying to detect the ram and fails to do so.
I have Ballistic (Micron) as I know these m/b are fussy about ram.
I will start the second time

I locks up every third day for no reason often when surfing, it think it may happen after a succession of rapid keystrokes, but I';m not too sure on that one.


The keyboard " key only works on the second keystroke. so I get ""

The right alt key won't work in Photoshop (haven't tried it in anything else. (and the ' key is odd too)

Tried many usb and ps2 keyboards all have the same problem with the "" key
