so basically i'll probably be playing games like css, tf2, cod4, etc. at 1680x1050 resolution. I just want the pc to be able to play them well and make them look good.
I might/probably will get a phenom CPU when they come out with the newer ones in a few months, but for now they're too expensive for the performance and i don't wanna spend that much for a quad core if i don't really need it. I also don't really need an sli or xfire motherboard cuz i figure that it'd just be bottlenecked and the 4850 will do a good enough job by itself right? so basically i'd just like to know if there is anything in this build that could be changed that wont raise the price alot, cuz i only want to spend like $700-$750. So basically, is this a good build for gaming or not?
all of those parts will run those games beautiful. i do suggest u do OC your cpu a bit. since those 2 HL2 games are cpu based, it will give you even better performance.
cod4 isnt a power hungry game at all, so no problems there.
if you are expecting to run games, like crysis, or upcoming games, like fallout, or w/e, i dont see this running them on the prettiest of settings.
but my current comp prolly wont either, so no worries
i do plan on overclocking the cpu but it says in the description it comes with heatsink and fan. Will the stock ones do a good enough job or do i for sure have to get a aftermarket one to get it to even like 2.6ghz?
