Hello, I am a noob , intending to build a gaming pc with some possible video mixing stuff.
I have some budgetary restriction, so I want to know if I should go with
INTEL DUAL CORE E5200 2.5Ghz (2MB CACHE - 800 MHZ FSB)

and 9800 GT
or

INTEL CORE 2 DUO E7300 2.66Ghz (3MB CACHE - 1066 MHZ FSB)
9300
and 9600GT

(ram , mobo etc will remain same i.e atleast 2 gb ram)
I am form Pakistan, I will go to another city to get me the desired system
here is the website of the seller, as Ebay would be of little use for me

Get a 9800gt and a E7200 trust me the 9800gt is miles ahead of the 9600>

definitely go with the 9800gt and whatever you feel is the best CPU in your remaining budget.

+1 for ^

I have an E7200 running at 3.8G. 8 months stable and counting.

This will depend on your monitor size a bit also, as well as if youll be overclocking...

if you have 1280x1024 screen, you might be best with the e7300 and 9600gt combo if not overclocking. As it will be less GPU bound.

if you have 1920x1200 then dont go anything under the 9800GT
