I am considering upgrading from a 8800gts 320 to the GTX 260. My question is, since i have a p965 DS3 board with pice 1.0, will I loose any performance due to bandwidth?

haha. I didn't think it would be. I am trying to find out how much bandwidth the card uses but the only specs i can find are about memory bandwidth.

For the most part, no card exceeds the PCI-e x16 1.0 bandwidth limitations, your more likely going to have issues with your processor and HDD limiting that card.

Well, my e6600 is overclocked to 3.4 and if necessary I can push it to 3.55. I also have to HD's in Raid 0 so hopefully, I'll be ok on all other fronts. I am also getting 2 more gigs of RAM. Also for your information, on newegg you can get a gtx 260 from EVGA for $215 after rebate PLUS Far Cry 2 PLUS 3dMark vantage advanced edition. Not a bad deal at all. The price is only good this weekend. Then it goes back up $30.
