Ubuntu boot not premited

My laptops disk drive broke so i was using the ubuntu USB drive boot and when i restart my computer ( i put usb device boot on) it says remove disks and other media then press any key to restart
what do i do so i can install the new ubuntu

That usually means nothing bootable was found in the USB. Did you properly install Ubuntu to the USB? Copy-paste does not work.

yes i folowed the direction on the ubuntu site

Your system may not support booting from USB properly.
