I'm trying to make sense out of the conduits installed on my Mac under
OSX. There are several pairs of conduits that seem to relate to the
same applications. Specifically:

Memo Pad, Memos, Notepad

Tasks, To Do List

Calendar, Date Book

Address Book, Calendar

I'm wondering if some of them are related to earlier versions of the
Palm Desktop.

(I'm also transitioning to using iCal and the Apple Address Book
rather than the corresponding applications on the Palm Desktop, so I'm
wondering whether I just need one of Memo Pad, Memos, Notepad active
along with the Apple conduit to work with iSync.)

Some of them are for earlier versions. Also, have you tried Notepad on
your Palm device, if it's Palm OS 5? Notepad is for handwritten notes
and drawings.
