Hi guys, new member, new builder here

So my dell is a bit outdated (by about 5 years) and i really need a new pc.
Mostly going to be used for gaming, CAD programs, photoshop and video editing.
As for Ocing, nothing major maybe just the cpu to 3.2 ish.
Not too concerned about price right now.
Keeping crossfire option open for future.

So here it is:

- ASUS P5E3 Motherboard
- Intel Core2 Quad Q6600
- OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Reaper HPC 2x2GB
- Thermaltake 750W Toughpower Modular
- XpertVision Radeon HD4870 Sonic Dual Edition 512MB
- Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme Heatsink (plus a scythe 120mm fan)
- Antec Twelve Hundred Case
- Western Digital Caviar 640GB WD6400AAKS

So i was just wondering if anything on this list would be overkill/insufficient (maybe the mobo or psu).
And as for the ram, is it really worth getting 1066MHz over the 800MHz?

Any help would be appreciated. :)

1066mhz is good for o/cing yorkies cuz their multipliers are low. Kentsfield is 9x 266 = ~2.4Ghz. You can do, say, 9 x 400 = 3.6Ghz o/c. If you plan to upgrade the cpu down the road, get faster ram.

The rest are great.
