OK lets start off I’m knew to customized pc so I’m just going to select options on websites I’m aware that they can rip you off but I want the payment schemes
Ok I’ve decided to get 1 HD4870X2 with 22" TFT widescreen monitor
Another thing is I will get Intel I haven't decided on dual or quad so shed some light on that for me
It will have 4GB of RAM (well 2x2GB Corsair Xms2 800Mhz) and will use 64 bit vista with that I don't nessiselary need a sound card or Physx card but I’m up for ideas if you can persuade me
And my motherboard will be and Asus one
I will also be OCing and I’ll of course use air cooling so it won’t be super overclocked might just keep card nonOCed as it won't really need to be
I will use my pc mainly for high graphics gaming the likes of Crysis you know the lot and will want to run lots of application as well but it mainly for gaming I would like to keep price below £1500 (sorry americans but $2,666 for you guys i'm not sure thats high for a PC over their but i'm looking for the best or at least futer proof) its still a lot but their is a limit.

if you are getting the 4870x2, you may want to get at least a 24" screen to give yourself higher res, the 4870x2 is destined to fly at higher resolutions
a 22" lcd usually has a res of 1680x1050 while a 24" has 1920x1200
Count Crotchular would higher res also mean hooking it up to my sony 37"
depends
if your tv is full 1080p (which has a res of 1920x1080) then it would almost the same thing, it would be higher res than a 22" monitor, but slightly lower than the 24" monitor
if your tv is only 720p (lcd tvs that are only 720p usually have a res of 1366x768), then even the 22" monitor has a higher resolution than your TV
basically a full 1080p TV or a 24" monitor would allow you to exploit the full potential of the 4870x2 since it can pump out high FPS at those resolutions whereas a lower card would fall flat on its face
