Advice on motherboard for new i7 build

Last response: in Motherboards

I'm about to upgrade my machine to the new architecture i7/X58 so I was wondering with which mobo to go:

Asus:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Gigabyte:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

DFI:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

As it is primarely for gaming, I look into those mobos for one reason: the PCIe 2.0 is x16/x16/x4 so you can have full SLI/CF + x4 for PhysiX card (my old 8800 gts 512)?

As secondary combination I consider GA-P45-UD3P + Q9650, but I'm bit reluctant with this since I would like to keep away upgradeing my mobo/CPU for the next few years...
any advice/thoughts would be very welcomed.

Thanks

I'm about to build a Core i7 system, and after much research, I'm going with the P6T Deluxe (I know the one you listed isn't the Deluxe). All 3 of those boards are pretty similar in price/performance/features, the Gigabyte might run a little cooler due to the extra layers of copper they're touting in their PCB fab process (but not by much). I went with the Deluxe because it has a 16phase power instead of 8 on the non-deluxe (The Gigabyte uses 12+2+2 as well, not sure on the DFI). The Asus BIOS has great control over memory settings for OCing if you're into that, but I haven't tried the other boards (I'm sure they're pretty similar). The Asus P6T definitely runs SLI 16x/16x/4x, but the Gigabyte's manual says it runs 16x/16x/8x. Not sure on that, because I was under the impression that the X58 was limited to 36 lanes (16/16/4 or 16/8/8).

Indeed X58 runs max 36 lanes...
Thus that is why I went with P6T (not delux) because it uses all 36 lanes, while P6T Delux is x16/x8/x8 (32 lanes).
I know that it has less phase powers but I read somewhere review that they were still able to overclock as they did P6T Delux....
