(This CPU has a better chance of overclocking, since it produces less heat and uses less power, so you have a better chance of getting higher clocks by adding more voltage)
Slightly overbudget, but definitely worth every penny. And it's a lot more overclocking-friendly thanks to the Motherboard equipped with an SB750 and a cooler chip. That was the only cheap case I could find with somewhat decent ventilation.

Not bad, but you should seriously consider spending a few more bucks for a bigger Hard drive and try and go to at least a 250GB. New egg has a special right now on a WD 500GB for like $60. Anyway good build. The 2GB of RAM will be a little limiting if you want to use Vista, but is fine for XP. It will be enough to play Crysis on Medium-High. I'm worried that your cheaping out on the PSU though.

Well with the PSU I read the very positive reviews and many high-end builds ran fine with the PSU, so say the review. I chose the small Hard drive because thats all I need.
Forget the Thermaltake PSU; the +12V amps are very low; it's sufficient to power a **** machine like mine (I have one), but not enough for an 8800GT. That's a great deal on the Earthwatts, which is vastly superior to the Thermaltake.
Would it be possible to fit a Core 2 Duo E5200 into this build? The CPU is $20 more, but you could get a cheaper motherboard, and it would be very overclocking friendly.
