i have problem in my psp wifi connection in security

what firmware is the PSP?
what is the error the PSP says?
what kind of security is on the router/AP that you are connecting to?

my sons psp only connects under wep protection it wont even work if network is protected with a wpa key!!!!!

It won't connect to the access point

check the security. If you use WEP, make sure that the security key is entered in the PSP network configuration, not the actual WEP password.
