Hi guys I am updating my PC and would like a second opinion on the parts I intend to use, as im fairly new to this process. I have provided links to as many official sources as I can to ensure optimal information for those willing to have a look.

My system is a PackardBell imedia 1959

I have tinkered with it a bit so far, by transfering it to an ATX case, upgrading the graphics card to a Geforce 8600 series card and have also installed a new PSU with 550 watts output.

i have purchased a intel quad core CPU

I have not yet purchased a MOBO or RAM, for the MOBO im thinking as Asus P5QC, this should be ok I thik as the FSB is higher than the CPU's

And for the RAM im thinking

The RAM im sure should be compatible as the site the link goes to provides a compatibility tool tailored to the individual MOBO. What do you guys think?, will it work together and is there any glaring issues I havent noticed or considered yet?
