EVGA 780i FTW Mobo and PCI 2.0 Compatibility Tags: Motherboards Compatibility PCI Express Last response: March 31, 2009 8:58 PM in Motherboards Share MikeMyhal January 28, 2009 12:43:44 PM Hi, I was wondering if the 780i FTW's PCI-E x16 slots act as PCI-E 2.0 when a 2.0 compatible card is put in, such as a GTX 285, even when it's not running SLi? I have the card already, and I'd hate to put it in this motherboard only to realize that it can't take full advantage of the card's PCI-E 2.0.
