Ok, I don't think I missed any crucial parts. I do plan to overclock the processor to ~3 Ghz. I am not sure if this motherboard is good enough for that. If anyone has a recommendation for a different motherboard or anything else, please let me know!

Thanks for your time, again,

-Alonzo

Edit: I should add that I do not plan to do SLI and that I am a big fan of EVGA cards.

man all you need now is a keyboard and a mouse. your system sounds rockin awesome. if you have the money i would suggest going with the GTX 280 though, in stead of the GTX260.

I would suggest...

Foxcon not brand I would suggest.......

I like Asus. ......

Asus P5E Deluxe or Asus Rampage (X48 Intel Chipset)

I think most here would suggest GPU ATI 4870 or 4870x2.

The NVidia choice is still VERY solid. On the NVidia side...why not 280?

I looked at the 280 but it is considerably more expensive than the 260. I've also read that the 260 is not far behind from the 280. If it is HIGHLY recommended I may consider taking the leap.

What does everyone think about the motherboard, will it be good for overclocking?

Also, the speakers and sound card. Anyone have any input on them as well?

Thanks again for your time!

well if you had the money you could go for the Logitec z5500 speakers....over 500 Watts so it is alot better

I just took a look at those motherboards you recommended and I think I will go with the P5E Deluxe, but the low ratings worry me a little. The Rampage is just too expensive.

well if you think the 280 is too expensive, get the 4870. that will be better than the 260,
