Does windows xp movie maker have a capture device in it?

Hello,
I have contacted every websit I can. Does Windows XP have a capture sytem in it. All I want to do is transfer analog camcorder home movies to computer and then burn thme to DVD. I didn't even know my computer had the movie maker system onit. I bought the Roxio Product vhs to dvd easy. It was a joke I could never get it to load. Can anyone please give me some advice.
