I've have ordered a ASUS Rampage 2 Extreme mobo with 6gb, 2gb each, of Kingston HyperX 2000mhz memories.
Now what i did not know was that the Mobo can just take memories up to 1800mhz.
Do you know if i still will be able to fit them togheter? Does the mobo "downclock" the memories automatically
to fit it's prefered speed or maybe i can do it myself in the BIOS?
Any help is really appreciated!!!
