Recently cloned original 12 gb HD to 120GB hd on Dell Latitude CPi R400GT PC boots and functions perfectly. However when I try to enter the BIOS setup it freezes at the first screen without listing the drives or service tag, Must power down to exit. Same problem with two different drives. Haven't found any problems while using the PC just no BIOS access.
BIOS = A14
OS = WinXP SP3
RAM 512 mb

Anyone have any idea what's going on

If it doesnt freeze entering tha bios with tha same new HD after is empty, for example erasing it with killdisk, then its just tha way tha data was resized and cloned on tha new drive that is confusing tha bios code, and may cause u other problems later on as well..

How did you achieve to put 512mb of RAM on yor Latitude CPi R400GT?

I want to upgrade my RAM too, but my computer doesn't accepts it. It only recgonizes 128mb per bank, not 256mb.

Please let me know since I bought 2 x 256mb RAM PC100.

Any help would be appreciated.
