I think what OP meant was 2 in sli, plus one more single, for 3 monitors, 1 for the slied pair, and 2 more on single. Seems like it should work. :p

Doubtful that it works, I don;'t see the point in spending another 300$ for that though. The heat of 3 GX2s in 1 case is going to be out of this world, and since the gx2 blows air in the case more than other cards....well you components will be affected.

I really doubt it works, and even if it did, I would say it's not worth it.

partially yes, alot of it gets exhausted from the to and sides of the cards as well

try it:) put a peice of paper or tissue slightly over and see where the air blows.

That tiny slit is not intentional. Small space between the sandwich plus powerful fan means higher pressure, pushing air through cracks where it's not supposed to go. It does happen, although the leaked volume is very small compared to ventilation out back.

Yes I think that is what the OP meant. And I think I would never try that in a million years :D .

@OP: FYI, the Big Bang II drivers from NVIDIA are supposed to enable multi-monitor support with SLI.

i just got my 9800 gx2. Unsure of how much heat is vented in the case but i bought a slot cooler so it dont matter, especially with the 360mm side intake fan blowing on it
