Microsoft shared dlls Constantly being repaired by Registry Mechanic

Hello,
Upon installing or updating Microsoft updates, and upon restarting my WIN-XP OS, which always launches PC Tools Registry Mechanic, I seem to need 10, 12, or 18 shared DLL's repaired or are missing. Although following the repairs everything runs fine. But curious why I need so many repairs.

Microsoft supplies security updates for XP by now. Try running Ccleaner.
