Hi

I have a weird problem that i have no idea how to fix. My computer wont boot up at all, when i press power, the fans come on, but there is not "beep", there is also no video.

These are the specs:

Asus P6T (non deluxe)
core i7 (with stock fan)
ocz 6gb RAM @ 1600 mHz
Ocz GameXstream 1010W PSU
BFG GeForce GTX 280 vid card

the pc was working fine for about 15 days. This morning it just refused to boot up. I have made no changes since the time it was working (last night)

I have tried to remove RAM, vid card, hard drive, optical drive, all fans from mobo and then try to boot, it doesnt do the "beep" even in this situation

I then tried to clear the CMOS for the mobo, i put the jumper in the clearing position, removed CMOS battery, unplugged PSU, for 5 hours, still no change

PS: the power and reset buttons on the mobo light up, but i cant seem to be able to use the reset button.

Any help is appreciated.

ok

as far as i can understand, when there are no Beeps, its down to 3 major components: the CPU, mobo, or ram

Can anyone give me guidance on how to figure out which one of them is messed up?

also, could the PSU be at fault here?
