Hello, getting ready to order my new system. I have a budget of about $600. Here is what I have picked, would love some input. Esp on the motherboard, I have such a hard time picking those. I current have a 20inch Acer monitor and I like to game at the native resolution, I think its 1680 x 1050. I play World of Warcraft for the most part, but love to fire up the first person shooters and blow peoples heads off from time to time, LOL.

you put the wrong link...list individual components and links to each of them...

I say go with an e5200, so that you can bump the video card up to a 4850....

you could also go with this psu for with more watts: (the one you listed is really good nonetheless)

I think it looks pretty solid for the money. What OS are you using, XP or Vista. And do you have it already?..

Reply to englandr753

I have windows XP already. I think I will also take the advice about the e5200. Here are the 2 changes I may go with -

CPU Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz 2MB L2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819116072

then I can up to

Video Card - EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130339

Eidit - forgot the case has a 20% promo code - makes the total with shipping to 623.30!

Good build. If you do go with the 500w Antec basiq you'll save about $15 getting it here with free shipping.

Save about $6 with this RAM, but have to deal with the rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820146731
if you can squeeze an extra $30 from your budget and of course deal with another damn rebate this HD4850 with good cooling solution would be worthwhile. $139 after rebate

Whatever way, good solid build. Good luck

This particular 9800GT is actually a rebadged 8800GTS 512 for $129 after rebate of course

go for a 4850 rather than a 9800gtx....it beats the 9800gtx on almost every game and can be currently found for an amazing low price...

good choice saving on the e5200...its an amazing processor for the price and can be easily OCd beyong 3ghz...
