Hi All - Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

I need a little help with a SN68PTG6 XPC Glamor Duluxe system I purchased for my son. Whilst its a great little system which I equipped with a 250gb hard drive, 2gb ram and a 4850e x2 45w cpu, its also on the "not so quiet side"

The hard drive is a little noisy but Ive read up on some quiet ones so I intend to change this in the next couple of weeks, the real problem is the pre-installed shuttle power supply which is kind of loud and annoying. One would have thought that with a £230 barebones media system they would have at least supplied a quality psu unit !!!

My question is this... Does anyone know of a "True Silent" psu for a the Shuttle systems? Ive seen the silent x that can be purchased but I dont want to spend £70 just to find out thats its not much better.

Also if anyone who has one of these machines and has been successful with using the software that comes with it to control the speeds and reduce noise then please could you let me know how this is done. Ive been playing around with this but have had no luck!

If anyone can help with a silent alterenative then it would be much appreciated. Thanks all
