hiya every one i was just wondering if any 1 can come up with any conclusion,
my specs
q6600
powercolour 4870
800w hi power psu
3.25 gb of kingston ram
windows sp2 32bit

the problem is on far cry with max settings with aax2 iam getting a very low fps like 23 min 43 max 34 avg i dont know what it is i have all the latest drivers i have even tryed the hot fix and i got the bsod every thing is plugged in properly well i think it is, i even get low fps on tf2 which i know i shouldnt be getting that like 25 minimum is there some thing i am doing wrong any help would be appreciated thank you.

wahts your resolution... anyway you might be cpu limited... although far cry 2 likes quads more than duals... high clock speed still helps more than the extra 2 cores

At 1920 by 1200 I set everything to max and then shadows down to medium and in the default benchmark run i get 65 fps average and 48 min with max in the 100's.... turn shadows to very high and the frames are cut severely... to 13 fps min 28 average and max like 40

try reducing shadows... theres no visible difference... between levels of shadows... just the distance at which they are drawn

PUNCTUATION! i don't even wanna help very much because it was so hard to read what you were saying. Anyway, we need your resolution and most likely it is what thogrom is describing about the shadows.

i play on a very low res due to the fact i have a ctr lol like 1290x920 lool
