:??: I DROPPED A NEXSTAR.CX EXTERNAL 3.5 EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE :( AND NOW I CANT ACCESS THE DATA AS I GET A USB POWER SURGE ERROR....
PLEASE HELP :cry:
 
Cool it on the caps. Perhaps just the casing electrical components were damaged in the drop. If you have a desktop PC, you can remove the drive from the enclosure and rig it directly into the motherboard to get your data and to ensure that the drive is fine. All you'll need is a SATA cable.
