because you want to see how the game runs not a test. I mean Crysis Benchmarktool gives me like 80 fps with my old GX2, and when i play in game I get like low 30s and mid 50s....thats why benchmarks are only general next to real in game benchmarks
It just proves that current gen cards are more dependant on games rather their own software....so much for DX 10.1 atleast for now
Guess I need a video card upgrade. With my Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz, and my 8800GTS (G92) OC'd to 713 (stock 650), at 1280x1024 with all settings at max I'm getting like 45FPS while driving. About 25-35 walking in open areas.
Seen it dip below 20 in combat with stuff on fire all around me.

Yeah it sounds like a new card will be all you need, your specs are similar to mine except the card. @ 1680x1050 with everything on Ultra high and 4xaa I rarely see my frames drop below 40.
