4870x2 Loud Squeel (BAD CRYSTAL)?? Help!

So I have a 4870x2 and it has a loud electronic squeel coming from it only when under load IE all games 3dmark ect. I have changed the PSU for another, taken out the GPU and played games on the onboard GPU, switched the PSU connectors, reinstalled the OS and used all kinds of drivers. Its not the fan either.

I talked to a Sapphire tech support guy (american) and he said it could be a bad crystal and to send it in for RMA. Ive never heard of a Crystal? on a gpu before.....Is this guy smokin something?
