My computer had been functioning flawlessly. When powering up one day, it ran for 4 seconds, shut down, ran for 4 seconds, shut down, etc. The power supply is a Corsair HX520, Gigabyte GA-965P-S3, 2 GB Corsair DDR2 800, 1 Seagate 160 GB hard drive, Sapphire Radeon 2400, Coolermaster Centurion case. Where do I start troubleshooting? Thanks for any response or advice.

Reset the Cmos.

After that test the PSU.

have you removed the cpu lately

sounds like a cpu cooler issue..


at this stage it could be anything
